OverHang Permanent Magnet Shaft Generating system

Our new OverHang Permanent Magnet Shaft Generating system have the following features and can contribute to energy saving for vessels.

1. Contributes to optimum hull design.
Increasing the vessel speed requires a slim stern shape so an inline-type SG has been obstructive to this hull shape, while the overhang-type SG is not.
2. Space-saving slim design
Our overhang-type SG is very slim and do not require a reduction in cargo space to make room for the SG.
3. Weight reduction by using permanent magnet
Fitting a permanent magnet to the rotor eliminates a significant number of parts and reduces weight.

4. Increased power generation efficiency.
Fitting a permanent magnet to the rotor eliminates excitation loss, SG efficiency improvement over the conventional SG.
