1895 Niigata Engineering was established as engineering plant of Nippon Oil Co., Ltd.
1910 Niigata Engineering Co., Ltd. was established by depending from Nippon Oil Co., Ltd.
1919 As the first industrial diesel engine in Japan the Niigata’s first own engine was completed.
2003 By taking over the business of engine and turbines from Niigata Engineering to IHI, Niigata Power Systems Co., Ltd. was established.
2019 Niigata engine 100TH year and Z-PELLER 50TH year anniversary celebration. Company name has been changed to IHI Power Systems Co., Ltd.
